So one day I decided to go see Kim Seifert sing. I don’t get out of Turing often, but one day I had zero friends online and decided to have a night out. I get to the place she’s playing, and enjoy about 5 minutes of song before her audiostream crashes. So she finishes her show by having everyone sing together, in text, all 4 versus of Amazing Grace. By the end of the thing, she’s the only one still going ’cause most people only know the first verse.
She stayed and talked a bit with the crowd, and I tried to join in, but she either didn’t recognize me, or she did and thought I was a stalker or something. In any case, noone responded to any of my comments. I felt disincluded so I left.
I walked around outside and found a little lagoon on the edge of the neighboring lot. It looked a little out-of-place, so I decided to have a look, and threw myself in the water out of sheer boredom. I hit the bottom, and saw a door leading back underneath the land.
I opened it up and once inside, I found myself transported to the engineering section for a Sovereign class starship. I quickly took over the vessel. Then, finding myself still alone, and still quite bored, I transported back to Turing. Without any help from Geordi, Scotty, or any other redshirt hack at the Cntl-Shift-H controls.
